Tuesday, September 8, 2026 -- Quiz Bowl Info Meeting, 6:00-6:30 PM at the Lynn County Extension Office
Monday, September 14, 2026 -- DUE: Sign-up for Quiz Bowl contest
Mid-September to November 3 -- practices will be held per team coaches
Wednesday, November 4, 2026 -- District 2 Quiz Bowl Contests, Lubbock
Monday, January 11, 2027 -- DUE: Sign-up for Houston Livestock Show Livestock Quiz Bowl Contest
Friday, March 5, 2027 -- Houston Livestock Show Livestock Quiz Bowl Contest
Tuesday, June 8, 2027 -- Texas 4-H Roundup Livestock Quiz Bowl Contest

AGE GROUPS
Junior--grades 3-5
Intermediate--grades 6-8
Senior--grades 9-12
Senior teams must have 4 members to compete.
Junior & Intermediate teams may have 3-4 members. Each team must have at least three members to compete.
Juniors may move up and compete on an Intermediate team, but the team will compete in the Intermediate age group.
Senior teams must be Senior 4-H'ers only.

COST

If you sold 10 or more raffle tickets in 2026, or are a first-year 4-H'er, then the fees are covered by the Lynn County Adult Leaders Association. If you register for the contest but do not end up competing, then you will be responsible for reimbursing your entry fee and will receive an invoice from Lynn County 4-H.
If you did not sell raffle tickets, then you will be responsible for paying your entry fee. You will receive an invoice from Lynn County 4-H. If you do not compete, then you are still responsible for paying the entry fee. Those fees are not returned once registration has been completed.
Invoices will be sent through Square.
Payments may be made via:
cash (no service fee)
check, made out to Lynn 4-H Adult Leaders (no service fee)
Venmo: @lynncounty4-h (no service fee)
Credit Card: through Square, will incur a 4% service fee
Please ignore any invoices/requests for payment that come from anyone other than Lynn County 4-H.

Questions will come from the list of resources below. There is no bank of questions to study.
The top 3 placing Senior teams at District will advance to the Texas 4-H Roundup Livestock Quiz Bowl Contest.
No parents or coaches allowed in the rooms until the final championship round.
