Remember that you are a representative not only of Texas 4-H, but of Lynn County, your community, your school, and your family.
Please read page 39 of the Texas 4-H Roundup Handbook regarding expectations of Texas 4-H'ers. If you have any questions regarding the dress code, let us know.
Please take a Sunday-dress outfit to wear when you walk the stage at the awards assemblies! This is non-negotiable.
(Walking the stage means you placed in the top three and you are announced and recognized during the assembly in front of the whole Texas 4-H delegation...it's a HUGE deal)
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
AWARDS ASSEMBLIES
When you place in the top three, you will be recognized on stage at the evening assemblies. This is a HUGE accomplishment and recognition, so you will be required to attend the assembly on your contest day.
You are HIGHLY encouraged to attend the evening awards assemblies. They are a good way to build friendships with other 4-H'ers from District 2 and Lynn County. They are fun and will serve as a motivator to help you set goals to walk the stage next year!
At evening assemblies, we will sit together with District 2.
We're there to support our fellow Lynn County 4-H'ers and those from District 2 as well!
