AGE GROUPS & TEAMS
Junior -- Grades 3-5
Intermediate -- Grades 6-8
Senior -- Grades 9-12
Teams must be made up of 3-4 4-H members
4-H'ers can also compete as an Individual
Juniors can move up to compete on an Intermediate team, but the team must compete as an Intermediate.
Seniors can only be on teams with Seniors.

COST
$15 per person
If you sold 10 or more raffle tickets in 2025 or are a first-year 4-H'er, then your fees are covered by the Lynn County Adult Leaders Association. If you register for the contest but do not end up competing, then you will be responsible for reimbursing your entry fee and will receive an invoice from Lynn County 4-H.
If you did not sell raffle tickets, then you will be responsible for paying your entry fee. You will receive an invoice from Lynn County 4-H. If you end up not competing, then you are still responsible for paying the entry fee. Those fees are not returned once registration has been completed.
Invoices will be sent through Square.
Payments may be made via

GENERAL INFORMATION
Kaci will bring clipboards, scratch paper, blank class worksheets, pencils, and calculators.
The Universal A Scantron will be used to record placings.
You will have 7 minutes to judge each class.
Intermediates will give reasons on ONE class.
Seniors will give reasons on TWO classes.
Each placing class is worth 50 points. Each reasons class is worth 50 points.
If a team has 4 members, the individual with the lowest score will be dropped.
For each class, a scenario is presented along with 4 options of each item. 4-H'ers will rank the items in order from the best to the least choices to fit the scenario.
If you need any accommodations for this contest, please email those to Kaci no later than October 1st.
If you need a preferential reasons time, please email those to Kaci no later than October 1st. No requests will be taken after the registration deadline.
4-H'ers competing will be excused from school on Monday, November 3. The Extension Office will notify the school.
The Extension Office will also check grades to make sure all participants are eligible according to UIL rules.
